Like you, as a HAM , I look at CB as just another way to play radio and I ignore my fellow hams who look down on CB. Im getting back in to CB after four decades and I owned owned my first CB station as a teenager back in the mid 1970's Ross/K8RLB

I'ma agree vs other companies president makes a dam good radio for the money. Consistent performance and build quality and yes Roger beeps are Required!!!💯💯

Nice CB Eric. Yes President is good radio stuff. I can mount that in my golf cart but has a plastic roof and 48V battery. I do have a HT in the cup holder. 73

I got out of CBS about 25 years ago. I still have my Superstar 3900 my Cobra LTD made in the Philippines with a upper and lower band switch in the side. I don't know what I would have done but one of these back in the day hello with my Cobra LTD Classic I was running a gray 150A

i have not had a CB radio in a long long time .have to see the price tage on this ? never had side band but back in the day with my star duster ? cant remember i use to get post cards from people in tenn gorga it was pritty cool. i realy would like a FM AM this radio has a lot of cool fetures.. every thing i would want.. people texting crazzy i do not touch my cell family member get pissed off becouse i wont pick up my cell lmao.. never ever seen one accedent with people talking on CB .. thatks for the video .. may be some day

Looks suspiciously like a Uniden 980ssb which is great just a horrible lcd screen in day light. Nice that this radio seems to have a nice and bright lcd

​@@HamRadioConceptsit can be done! i made a patch cable from the 7100 to the 7300! i can do cross band reapeter from either vhf uhf to hf! with the proper filtering you could do hf to hf!
