That bike isn't too loud at all my friend. I have a 97 Shadow VT1100 with drag pipes and I can quiet it down enough to go right past my local police with no problems, but get around that corner and nail it and it lets the whole neighborhood that Eric is out and having fun. Really enjoy your videos. You always have a good point of view. Thank you & keep up the good work.

Thanks, one of my subscribers spelt it phonetically a while ago and it's stuck with me since. Love a good derestricted four cylinder howl.

Took one for a test ride and it scared the crap out of me, handling was so soft it was dangerous. Took it straight back to the dealer. Real shame as I liked everything else about it. Really like the revues so please keep up the good work.

Thanks Mark, sorry to hear the bike didn't work for you, what did you end up with in the end?
@markputnam63714 жыл бұрын
BMW S1000r. Although it is no looker it is an amazing bike. Mind you if Ducati had put a bigger engine in the Supersport (like the 1200 Monster engine) then that would have been the one.

Really enjoyed your video thanks. I must say I’m rather partial to the late model CB1000r. They may not have the handling of some of the other nakeds but I think with a bit of tuning you could make it a great handling bike. I really like the looks she has nice clean lines which appeals to me. Given a couple of years and I think I’ll add one to my garage to accompany my CB1300 which I’ll never sell it’s such a great bike, especially on long distance rides but equally for blasting around the twisties as well, even though it’s a heavy bike, if you are an accomplished rider you won’t have much trouble dealing to most bikes given the amount of torque the engine has.

Ahh nice to meet another CB1300 owner. It's such a smooth power plant. It took me a little while to trust the suspension heading into a fast corner but it's an easy bike to live with and it sounds great with the open exhaust on it. I think you'll like the CB1000 when you add it to the garage, it's really fun.

Rarefied Road. You’re right the CB1300 engine is a real gem and whilst the bike might not have the top end of a litre bike it has more than you will ever need for the road. As for the suspension it’s surprising how hard you can push it without any unwanted characteristics. I’ve done track days on mine and you can get a knee down no problems. Mine is the S model as well in red and white.

Just a quick question. I just purchased a cb1000r 2022 . Love her to bits. Just noticed the one you drove doesn’t have a catalytic converter . I would love to remove this ,, engine killer,, brick out of my lovely bike. It’s a big issue in Uk if i do so ? Thanks 😊

Thanks, never knew you had a CB13. I had the naked one and grew to love it. They really go and handle well. How do you find the nose fairing on the S model?
@RarefiedRoad4 жыл бұрын
It's effective. Takes the blast off your chest enough to make high speed easy but I wouldn't bother with an extended screen because the one that came with it just blasted wind into my visor. Love the bike though, such a brilliant engine.

Great video as always 👍I’m in the market for a naked bike there’s just soooo many ! My short list c b 1000 , or bmw f900r, Ducati 821 , I I’m interested witch one you would recommend?
@RarefiedRoad4 жыл бұрын
Tough choice. I haven't tried any of the BMW middleweights yet so I can't really say how that feels but the Honda is brilliant value for money and really easy to live with. Not everyone likes a Ducati monster so you'll have to try it and see what you think but for me that's one of the best handling naked sports bikes you can buy so that would be my choice.

Rarefied Road, thanks for your advice and time 👍I’ll go and test ride them all .

Hi, would you happen to measure the Decibel Meter of the Akrapovic full exhaust? Idle and at 5000rpm? Thank you!
