Good job on the exhaust bracket - I am going to fabricate my own as you did. That bike is so cool man I am so glad you posted this series on the CB650 being I am rebuilding mine and I need help and you're giving a ton of it to the community here.

If you have a chance to getaway next week you should bring your Monkey to The Key West Conch ride. Another awesome bike build video.

Man, I spent a lot of time riding today, it rides really nice. Huge relief since I've put all this time and effort (and money) with little idea of how the final product would ride.

That looks great, very clean. I had a CB350 twin that was done pretty similarly to this style, of course yours sounds better!

Looks great, wonderful colour, the only thing I’m not sure about is that exhaust. Great work👍
@eastcoastish3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yeh, that exhaust came with the bike and i polished it up to finally get it ridable - I may change it up to a megaphone-style can here in the future, would also like it to be a bit louder.

Thank you! And it really is easy to learn this stuff. I've always been into cars, but honestly this channel encompasses most of my experiences working on motorcycles. Lots of great content on YT to understand how to do just about anything.

@eastcoastish3 жыл бұрын
I'm putting together the list now, I'll have a video detailing the total cost of the bike and will include my Excel spreadsheet with vendor and prices.

how did you swap to the spoke wheel? would be very nice if you answerme a question.
@eastcoastish2 жыл бұрын
If you currently have mag wheels, you'll have to just buy a spoked wheel. I took the original spoked wheel apart, powdercoated the hubs and then had these custom laced to the black rim for the look I was going for.

How do you make it louder though
@eastcoastish2 жыл бұрын
Lots of louder exhaust options. Wasn’t trying to draw too much noise attention in this build.
