Moira Walley-Beckett - As a viewer, I thought the same as you, "I have never seen anything like it." Also, "she learns miles of dialogue," ran through my mind, such as reading those lines from Jane Eyre and other books. I think Amybeth McNulty realizes how uplifting her role has been for audiences. Such a fantastic amazing touching story, and its Canadian too! Its cool that Amybeth is partially Canadian/Irish (which many Canadians are), and that Moira IS Canadian!!!! And Im happy they filmed much of the scenes in PEI! This is a masterpiece of a show and is so refreshing ! I hope that Season 4 still happens, I still have hope even if it seems impossible!

We love this show. Thing is, the spirit of Lucy Maud Montgomery animates it. Time has passed since the series' cancellation, but of course, the Anne saga continues into adulthood, via Montgomery's writings. So, the original actors could be recalled to reprise their roles for another decade. Whoever could pull this off, would make millions.
