@@mahjoubeldoma7248 well, you're kind of right, the somali name Kaynaan, is the same as the name of Canaan son of Cush son of Ham son of Noah (according to the old testament bible), the name is a very ancient afroasiatic word, in Somali, a Cushitic Afroasiatic language, Kaynaan means 'lowland plateau with fresh vegetation that has received rain' Although the word Kaynaan is a pure Somali Cushitic Afroasiatic word, it comes from the same cognate and linguistic origin as the word Canaan in the hebrew Bible, and Kan'aan in Arabic
