I do too but it’s not for everyone. I’ve seen some people get here and move on within 6 months.

@@ChrisBlasicRealtor yeah, I know some people who love Menifee like I do but also others that hate Menifee. You kinda have to leave Menifee to do anything since Menifee is mostly just Newport Road.

Menifee is the HOTTEST RENTAL city in the USA! Everyone I know bought homes there to RENT! people I know that move there are RENTERS! and if you have to many renters....its the next OAKLAND of the south!

You're right Chris - I live nearby. I can't imagine those that have to commute each day to SD or LA. Just to get to work to earn a pay check costs big bucks as this example: Need a relatively new car because reliability is paramount = $500 per month car payment The drive to either location is ~65 miles = 130 miles a day round trip w/ gas @ $5.00 gal (for the moment). Typical car gets ~25 miles per gallon = 5-6 gallons per day @ $5.00 = $25-$30 per day X 5 days a week = $125-$150 per week Typical car insurance = ~ $1,200.00 per year (if lucky). Standard maintenance = ~ $1,000.00 per year (if lucky). Time on the freeway each date ~3-4 hours (if lucky); aggravation meter scale of 1-10 = 5 (if lucky). Subtotal for just gas/oil = ~$7,200.00 a year = $600.00 per month. Grand total a year (~48 weeks) to live near Menifee and commute to SD or LA to earn a pay check = $9,500.00 or approx. $850.00 per week.

I lived there for 18 years and moved to Arizona 5 years ago. Menifee is growing so fast. When I go visit that area I can't believe how it's grown

I moved to Menifee from South Pasadena in 2022…. I miss having a Fatburger, Gelson’s, Whole Foods and Bristol Farms. Other than these few things, everything is here!! Running my AC in the summer and heater in the winter hasn’t been that much of a difference from living in South Pasadena…..

My parents rent their house in Menifee and whoever has it has won the lottery. My folks refuse to raise the rent over 1700 a month bc they like that their current renter takes real good care of the house. This is for a 2800 sq ft house built in 2002. Never mattered to the homeowners when I took good care of their house... price always went up every few years.

I really love it here but you’re talking me into moving away. Aren’t you trying to sell houses here? I came from Porter Ranch in LA and it’s just as hot but it’s within the urban rot of LA. Have you sold any houses lately? I think I’ll dust off my license and get back into the market because I really do love it here!!!

@@johnferris4149 I love it here as well. You got to prepare people for the good and the bad. It's not about deceiving people into thinking it's all sunshine a rainbows. Many do feel the pros out weigh the cons, including myself. And yes, I am a full time real estate professional that has sold close to 900 homes over the last 18 years.

Yes. My mother in law did but it was years ago when Menifee was small. She liked it but likes it more now that there is so much more things like back home (restaurants and shopping)

I moved my family here from L.A. county in 07 and I am extremely happy with the move. Yes it gets hot, the traffic can be hectic and the lack of authentic Mexican food sucks, but all in all it beats the streets and atmosphere of L.A. and it’s much safer.

This was very, very helpful. I actually bought a house in Menifee, but pulled out after the inspection. I was freaked out by the possible heat and lack of character plus concerns with climate change. One report I read is Riverside will transition to higher temps six months out of the year...yikes!!

Thanks Joe, I haven't seen that yet. This year was actually a little cooler than years past and it looks like the triple digits are gone for this summer but we will see what the future holds!

Minimum wage is going to $20. Get an EV Teslas are cheaper. Weather in the winter probably more extreme too. And school district not the best. Better off in Temecula.
