Sympathies to all of Shirley Boone's loved ones. I've been a fan of Pat ever since I saw "April Love" with my Mom at the theater. He never disappointed me concerning his Christian standards in every aspect of his life. All Mother's could allow their children to hear his music, attend his shows, & watch his movies, resting assured he is an honorable role model. Gods blessings. 💕

@@newtoublue1451 I pray you become educated in the Bible. If you just get to know Jesus, you're view of Christianity will change. You just trash talked a magnificent Christian couple. Aren't you curious if God is real, if Jesus was born as recorded in the Bible. He's the only God who suffered tremendously and was crucified, rising from the dead on the 3rd day! Aren't you worth the time to give this serious thought . Also Jesus is the only God who rose from the dead and fulfilled all but 1 prophesy, not time for that one yet. The odds are seriously astronomical! He is part of the Trinity, Father, Son and the Holy Spirit! The only true God! Do this for yourself, get a Bible and slowly and prayerfully read John in the New Testament. Ask the Holy Spirit for understanding. Doing this with your heart, discover God and what He's done for humanity, develop a relationship w Jesus. For yourself I pray you do this. I speak from my heart!

Dear Sweet Pat, my husband and I grew up listening to your songs and watching your movies. We married when I was only 18 and he was 20. We had almost 54 years together before he died on August 9th of this past year. He was the love of my life, just as your Shirley was to you. We will see them both again some day, but the waiting is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. God Bless you for your courage in telling your story so soon after losing Shirley. I'll be praying for you and your daughters. Diane in North Carolina

SORRY FOR YOUR LOSSES, EVERYONE. MY MOTHER DIED ONE YEAR AGO FRIDAY FEB 8 IN REJECTION OF OUR JEWISH MESSIAH. MY FATHER WAS SO DEVASTATED AFTER 60 YEARS OF MARRIAGE. MY MOTHER HAD 33 YEARS TO STUDY AND RESEARCH FOR HERSELF WHETHER OR NOT JESUS IS THE JEWISH MESSIAH. SHE NEVER CARED TO READ THE BIBLE AT ALL. NOW SHE'S IN HELL! DAD 'S DAYS ARE NUMBERED AND HE TOO HAS NO INTEREST IN READING EVEN THE JEWISH OLD TESTAMENT I HAVE CONCLUDED THAT THEY JUST ARE NOT CHOSEN OF GOD TO BE SAVED. ISAIAH TALKS ABOUT JEWS WHO ARE IGNORANT HAVE HARDENED HEARTS AND ARE NOT PART OF THE CHOSEN REMNANT. [ I JUST WANT AT LEAST ONE PARENT WITH ME IN GODS KINGDOM. ALL MY RELATIVES WHO DIED ARE ALL IN HELL NEVER BOTHERING TO DO THE STUDYING OR RESEARCH ABOUT WHO JESUS WAS AND IS.

Grief comes in waves. I’ve found that when you have grief continuously, you have lots of regret. If you’ve done everything you knew to do for the loved one you’ve lost you don’t have as much grief. I lost my brother suddenly when he was 25. I learned that lesson then. When he stepped on to a plane to return to his home in Texas, we never dreamed that would be it. I would advise anyone to not leave things unsaid. Undone.

Ok why did he cheat on her until he was old? Do you admire that too? So he was home with all those kids while he was a celebrity and had all those flings. Not that he admitted to it until he was beyond playboy age. Hypocrite.

I love Pat and Shirley Boone. They influenced me many years ago. Shirley was on my cassette player at work and I would listen to her many times giving her testimony. I felt like she was a part of my family, and still do. Love you, Pat.

Hi Pat Boone you are a wonderful person wonderful husband a great example of how men should be to their families. A awesome man of God and a very good singer wasn't that long ago I was watching you and your wife on the Jim Bakker Show you guys so perfect together. I could see the love you have for each other and respect and I can see why you love her so much . I didn't know you're married so long wow 65 years is that a record it might be. Stay strong Pat I know it's very difficult to have her go before you, I pray for you and your whole family. Cherish the moments that you had with her knowing that you'll see her again remembering no it's not the end it's the beginning♡ God bless you Pat

My parents were married 62 years. My Dad held on until 2:30 am on May 29th 2016 their anniversary. They loved each other and my Mom went to see Jesus and reunite with my Dad in 2017. I take comfort in knowing I will see them in Heaven one day♥️🙏♥️🙏

Cant remember the song but I played it over and over until I learned how to whistle with Mr Boone. Always admired him and loved his talent and happy attitude. Guess shirley was greatly responsible for that. May she rest in peace.

May God continue to bless Mr. Boone. May He heal his broken heart with all the lovely memories they shared. I was just a little girl when I first heard him sing. What a wonderful voice. I liked everything he sang, my favorite was his "Love Letters in the Sand." I was also a little Elvis fan too. I loved music. But there was something about Pat Boone's voice. Not like Elvis, and yes they were both very popular, I remember that. There was something wholesome about him. It came across in his music. I hope he knows this. Thank you, Mr. Boone for all the wonderful memories of hearing you sing while I was growing up. Thank you.

This was so touching and inspirational. Hope precious it is to dwell with God's children. My name is Shirley and my husband's name is Pat. We took a lot of teasing for that. I always said we could not have had better examples. My husband went home 5 years ago. Seems like yesterday, still such a precious part if my life. When my husband went home I remember falling on my knees at his bedside with the tears rolling down. All of a sudden it was as if someone lift placed theirs beneath by elbows and lift me up from my knees. This over whelming peace over flowed me and has not left me. This is what I pray for you and your family. I could not have made it without that peace that God gave me. Praise His Holy Name.

It’s been a little while, but please accept my deepest sympathies over the loss of your beloved wife! And thank you for leading such an exemplary life, especially in your line of work in the field on entertainment with its accompanying temptations! And as you spoke so fondly of your great success with the musical hits of the (50s and 60s) that God has blessed you with, I’m reminded of a song by the Platters that truly is befitting to you...”One In A million.” You are no doubt one of the shining stars of Americana!

I am 74 now & have always loved & admired Pats' wonderful example for God! We were worshipping one Sunday in Nashville years ago & I told my husband the song leader had a beautiful voice like Pat Boone. Come to find out later it was Nick Boone singing. May God continue to bless you & your family as you serve God with joy! Love in Christ, Susan Carver - Northwest Church of Christ member in Fort Worth, Texas ❤

Around 1957-1959, Pat Boone walked right into me at a Western Mass fair-he had just left a local TV station booth-I was so surprised I could not say a word to him-and yes, he had his white bucks on! We loved his songs back then-bought all his records-still play him today. A good and decent man
