After hearing of all the anti Isreal protests on campuses and the troubles with Harvard etc. this past winter, hearing of this is so uplifting. Blessed be your name Jesus, thank you for the revival, thank you for reaching these young men and women. In your holy name I pray.

My spirit is lifted to hear of the outpourings not only at Asbury but other places around the USA. I rejoice for the Spirit moving in these young people, and pray they are well discipled. Seeing their souls on the path to salvation is praiseworthy; also, Romans 11:25 is interpreted by some to say when the “last” soul available to be saved is saved, this will usher in the Rapture. Prayer and Thanksgiving to GOD and the LORD Jesus Christ!

The Rapture is a lie always has been. It is resurrection that happened a very long time ago April 21, 26ad to be exact. All that is left to happen is death. Death is escaping this world, not some man made escape. Christ lives within you. This world is not our home
@DrHaddix9 ай бұрын
@@InTheGarden1960 We’ll see soon enough! And the only ones awaiting Death are unbelievers…I draw attention to Jesus saving Peter from drowning after Peter, walking on water towards Jesus, took his eyes of Jesus and started to sink. Who else is the Restrainer that restrains Lawlessness and the Son of Perdition, the beginning of the Tribulation, if not the Holy Spirit indwelling believers? And why would a Just and Righteous GOD, after removing our sins as far from the east is from the west, then subject those believers to the unimaginiable suffering of the Tribulation? Especially a Tribulation period meant to deal with unbelief in the Jewish people, aka Daniel’s 70th week, aka The Time of Jacob’s Troubles? In Revelation 4:1, John the Revelator is carried spiritually into heaven in a representation of the Rapture, where he sees the Church as the 24 Elders, and the countless Tribulation Saints in Rev 7:9. The Tribulation is also a different Dispensation, with the Dispensation of Grace ending with the Pre-Trib Rapture and now becoming a Dispensation of Judgement. Hence the cries of the saints under the altar for God’s Justice against their persecutors in Rev 6:9. Finally, Paul writes to the church on Thessalonica, who were decieved into believing the Rapture taught to them by Paul had already occurred and that they had missed it. Paul reminded them in 1 Thess 9 that “we are not appointed to wrath” (the very definition of the Tribulation). On 2 Thess 2:3, Paul further admonishes them that The Day of Christ (not The Day of the Lord, big difference) will not come unless there is a falling away (apostasy, happening now), and the man of sin os revealed, the son of perdition. The man/son who cannot be revealed until after the restrainer is removed at the Rapture, the Blessed Hope of Titus 1. Remember, Paul was an unusual apostle in that he was chosen and trained by the Resurrected Jesus Christ, and in a near death experience after being stoned on his first mission trip in Lystra in 48 AD( see the “I knew a man” discourse in 2 Corinthians 1 written on 62 AD. Paul was taken to tie throne room of Heaven, hearing things “unlawful for a man to utter”. I daresay Paul’s understanding pf these events exceeded that of any other apostle, and as such, his writings bear weight and truth. “I tell you a mystery: we shall not all die…”. Seems obvious if we all wait for the Second Coming, but a Blessed Hope to we who believe & confess and repent, seeking a relationship with Jesus Christ! Time will tell, my friend. In the meantime, look up, our redemption draws nearer and nearer 🙏!! Look up, our Redemption draws nigh!!

I just hope there's follow up with discipleship. Not just an experience which has no foundation.
@putontheseglasses88099 ай бұрын
The whole Bible is based on experiences like Saul of Tarsus seeing Jesus on the road of Damascus. And he was called an Apostle despite not being discipled by Jesus. Jesus disciples experienced the works of Jesus when he healed the sick raised the dead and cast out demons. And the disciples experienced it themselves. If you are a disciple of Christ why are you healing the sick raising the dead and driving out demons as Jesus commanded his disciples? How much discipling does one need before they can be considered fruitful in your eyes? This is christian college so I'm pretty sure they have read the Bible and know the do's and dont's. You could use some discipleship for sure.
@bgood15329 ай бұрын
@putontheseglasses8809 none of us have been "discipled" by Jesus. We mature believers are called to spread the good news and to make disciples/students of God's word, the whole word. We need to understand God’s word to discern truth. So important with so many churches catering to culture. Growing up and still seeing today, many encounter God through an experience but the root never goes deeper and they fall away just like the parable of the seeds. I'm happy to continue the conversation if it can be done respectfully. No need to be rude or condescending. This is not the way.
@putontheseglasses88099 ай бұрын
@@bgood1532 Your first comment I hope there's a follow-up with discipleship" this implies that are new converts which they're not. The fact they're gathering to pray and worship demonstrates their faith in Christ and obedience to the word. Does it not say not to forsake the gathering at the saints? Does it say to pray without ceasing and to worship? Or do you wish they would just read the Bible only?
@bgood15329 ай бұрын
@putontheseglasses8809 just because one gathers doesn't automatically mean they have a firm foundation or are mature in their faith. I've worked with youth and have seen this happen firsthand. We should never assume.
@bgood15329 ай бұрын
@putontheseglasses8809 there's nothing wrong with gathering. That's not the concern at all. Its making sure there's a solid foundation after the experience is over and the emotions have died down. We shouldn't assume everyone has a firm foundation. I know, as I've seen it happen with my peers growing up and leading a youth group.

Mary chose to sit at Jesus’s feet and learn while Martha fretted. Jesus told Martha she travailed about much, but Mary had chosen the better thing. The fall of our society can be traced to removal of GOD from schools in 1963. In the times we live in, I daresay they have chosen the better thing.
