You did great on your rebuild really man keep it up !!! I'm personally going to do the same I have a 07 model CBR1000RR with the same issue you had ,but I have limited funds I have everything pull off and prepared for swap but looks like I need to do the crankcase tear down .looks like I'm in for a learning experience,!!!
