I have a 2004 triumph daytona 600. In terms of build and design this is quite similar to my bike. Thanks for the video I think I’m gonna go pull an engine🤣

I recently took the thermostat housing off to replace starter motor (engine inside bike) and I swear it didn't have that hole into the engine

You have to be careful when removing the camshaft holder bolts. I believe you did it in the order as marked on the holders themselves, which is incorrect. Those numbers are for the order they should be torqued down in. When removing them it should be done in reverse order. I´m not trying to be pedantic about it but great care must be taken as any damage on the holder itself means a new head is required as they are machined as a matched set.

Good video, I’ve done my own engine tear down vids, it’s interesting to see how others do it. Seems like you have a bad water ingress issue to find anyway, and looked like there was a load of it sat in the oil cooler when you pulled it off. Sure that was water peeing out of the outlets when you pulled it off. I’ll watch the rest of these with interest. Keep up the good work. Rich from the u.k.
