04-10-24 Listening from Southern Ontario, Canada, 43* N. 🇨🇦 Looking forward to our bedtime story tonight. Had our really first lovely weather for doing some heavier gardening. Needed to dig up a good number of Hosta plants that now need dividing and replanting. The only really discouraging thing is that most of our soil is clay, so I have to remove the clay, then add good soil. The plant crowns are showing, so now is the time. I’ve found a neighbour who would love to have some, so that works out ! We had 68 * weather today, which was just perfect ! I made a lovely pot roast for supper, homemade biscuits ( you don’t want to waste any gravy ! ), and a nice lemon sponge rolled cake, lightly spread with seedless raspberry jam before rolling, and topped with softly whipped vanilla frosting. Now a good story, and no problem sleeping tonight ! Hope all who find themselves here have sweet dreams tonight ! 🙏❤🫠 Have a good night, all my friends, wherever you are !☺

@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hc Yes, I’ve noticed……but I’m still trying to listen. Any idea why people aren’t right now? Maybe it’s the time of year, I don’t know. I hope I don’t lose contact with you and a few others. It’s been nice having someone to chat with. I don’t have any women friends - the few I knew have died. I knew them through work.Friendship with others is the one big thing I lost wgphen I became so ill with my cancers. I ended up losing my job because of not being able to work for what they considered a “ too long a period”. I did understand. It’s been nice finding this group of people. Speaking of, I hope Doc is doing better. 🥰 Thank you for keeping in touch! I love that saying British women used to have: “You will always find me at home. “. You will always find me here.☺❤😺😺
