The video quality here is more impressive than anything else I’ve seen from the early 1990s

Richmond would be the first #15 seed to beat a #2 seed.

This tournament featured the first time a 2-seed lost to a 15--seed (Richmond beating Syracuse), and somewhat strangely, three Huskies (UConn, Northeastern, Northern Illinois).

Interesting how the 16 seeded Ga. state got to play at home in Atlanta.

True, but A, they were the designated road team due to having the lowest seed, and B, it wasn't at their home court (GSU Sports Arena).

Nice upload always wanted to see this one You don’t happen to have 1989 or 1992

I might have 1989. Don't have anything prior to 1987 in this particular series of tapes though. I'll look for the 1989 one next time I'm at the office.

I have bits and pieces of NCAA, mostly Syracuse Orangemen from 1987 - late '90s. Sports isn't a big interest in many of the subscribers of this channel, so I may start a separate one for sports related content.
