Dolly Parton was born at the right time in history. I have always said that Marylin Monroe is the greatest Actor that ever lived because she "played the role" of the Blonde Bombshell and still has every man and woman on earth believing her. When Marylin Monroe looked for more serious roles, very few men, especially, THE DIRECTORS, would take her seriously. Dolly took on the same role. She has succeeded beyond Ms Monroe because she showed the world that she was more than a sex symbol. She is a dad! blame! good Business Woman, Writer, a Recording Artist and a Sexy Symbol of femininity. Cheers to Dolly Parton and Marylin Monroe, knowing how to stay in character, always on stage can't be easy.

I wish Dolly hadn't said "I look like a woman but I think like a man." I get that she used men's biases against them, but speaking as if only men are smart and good at business is a real put down to other women, though I guess she reflects her age and background.
@reddragonready6 жыл бұрын
She did not at all suggest that "only men are smart and good a business". Perhaps you are reflecting your age and background in that shallow and uninformed interpretation? And just fyi...Dolly Parton has never exactly been typical of her age and background.
@MrRondonmon6 жыл бұрын
Men are better than women even at cooking, of course that's not true with all individuals, but in general, men just have a more competitive spirit, it's how we were built by God. No shame in that.#2 ain't bad....
