My god, I am just amazed on how good the interviewer he is. He seems to ask great questions and even better follow up questions. Even Dolly was amazed on how good he was. Considering she is 70 and had countless of interviews before, you must feel amazing. You nearly made her cry with the Witney question.

You can just see it in his eyes because there sparkling and he never stopped smiling, which is the 1 piece of being a great interviewer because it makes the person feel calm and easy to tell you everything, going back to what y'all said about him NOT disrupting her or being "Bigger" but being on a perfect level with her which again is another reason why shes the calmest I've seen her

This is the best Dolly Parton interview I've ever seen. We've always loved her at our house. My father was a Church of God preacher too and I am familiar with much of what she says here. Although I have stayed in Gospel music, and I'm not a star by any stretch of the imagination. The interviewer does such a great job and they seem to be so open. This is such a great conversation. I'm from Tennessee and I think I've seen every interview Dolly has done from the 80's and up. This is by far the BEST interview I have ever seen. He did an awesome job! I hate when interviewers talk over them or interrupt and ask another question to move on. I thought Bobby Bones had the best interview with her but this was even better.
