After 30 years in LE and the last 10 field training new officers, when I heard the testimony of the initial officer (can't remember his name) who stated they didn't investigate or check anything inside the residence the dead officer was found in front of, even though there was a nexus between the two, I knew right there at that point, 'cover-up'. Even if the officer was found outside a random house, you would still knock on the door and ask the residents if they knew anything. Police work 101. I'd lose my sh!t if I discovered this basic questioning wasn't done. If I was a juror, anything said by the prosecution after that point would've been a moot point. These good ol boy clubs exist, and this is what happened here.

@@jimallen5850 The FBI already conducted a thorough investigation (including a Federal Grand Jury and subpoenas issued against BA, BH, CA, MP, etc) and found no evidence of a frame job and conspiracy, and BA, etc, having no involvement in the passing of JO. Contained in a 3,700 page report - MP’s text messages being the worst thing in it (according to an ex FBI agent). Hence no charges/indictments for crimes/public offences, etc, were laid against any of them and the KR trial proceeded on. None of the alleged frame job and conspiracy theory matters if there’s no evidence to prove it, it doesn’t show a crime and no indictments/charges have been laid, still only against KR. It’s over - ⚖️ for JO!

it’s not necessary to have not seen or heard of the case. during jury selection and before trial starts they are asked to disregard anything they may have seen and refer only to the evidence shown.

It’s going to be interesting to see how tactics change when this goes to trial again. Defense might shy away from being framed since there is so much reasonable doubt without that. And maybe prosecution will try and get out in front and those text messages.
