I came looking for this story I’m 29 I’m losing everything I worked so hard for I have 3 girls and I was losing hope but this video just saved me from doing something stupid it saved my life cause I know I have to fight and keep going for my girls and that I can do it as long as I have breath in me thank you for sharing thank you so much Charlie & Richard this is so lovely this all I needed this is all I needed ❤️

It´s so Relieving. Never stop believing yourself, And you better be thankful for who you are. There is a lot of kids, Orphans, And homeless people, Etc. And it´s so sad knowing the Way they´re getting treated even effects their confidence; And thoughts of the community. This Man is special. Out of all his years on the streets, He never gave up hope. You should never give it up, too. Because Out of all the Bullshit and terrible events someone could witness, That doesn´t mean it won´t bring Good things, And happiness to you.

Glad you did this story CBS. Homelessness need to be addressed. Poor people don't have the resources to stand up and walk. The "root" causes need to be address. The list is long. I tear up for such a happy ending. A true story indeed.

I am threatened with homelessness on a weekly basis by my alcoholic bf. I'm disabled and on oxygen. I cried watching this story. It's so amazing what Charlie did for Richard! But the problem of homelessness is now being criminalized in CA. Which is ludicrous! The president absolutely SHOULD go to Skid Row and then he needs to make lasting changes in the way the poor are housed in this country! Having a roof over your head during a winter season should be a human right not luxury.

You shouldn't have to live with the constant worry of living on the streets. I'm so sorry for your situation!! Please get help from someone so you can get away!!!
