A high-speed chase with a narcotics suspect and California Highway Patrol officers ended after the suspect ditched the car inside of a parking structure and ran into Westfield Fashion Center in Sherman Oaks, where he was eventually taken into custody.

I was in the food court and suspect tried to cut in Panda Express line. Then the police tackled him and took him away.

I was on the sidewalk there on Hazeltine and saw this chase go flying past me! (right before he dipped into the mall) INSANE speed for that street, and the unmarked car behind him was right ON his ass!

Every day.. EVERYDAY there are at least 2 high speed chases in the LA area! They need to tackle this problem! People get run over.. accidents.. it’s like the wild Wild West but with 280+ horses and one carriage

The LAPD used to catch the bad guys but they are babies today. Scared to death to chase so the6 let them go. Thankfully the CHP were on the case. The LAPD will be happy to take the credit for catching him though. Now they are back at the doughnut shop.

After watching the impressive Arkansas State Police ruin a perp's day with 100 mph PITs LA car chases seem overly long and put more civilians at risk. Arkansas Troopers are tenacious.....they never give up & never call off a pursuit. Jacob Byrd and Ana Escamilla are 2 of their most noteworthy LEOs.

This is LA, the criminal will pay bail and walk to wreak havoc again. Would love to see him in a prison uniform, but, like said, this is a Democrat run city… more high speed chases because they don’t go to prison.

Uh...this was a video news clip of a "vehicle pursuit." So, OBVIOUSLY, law enforcement (vehicles and airship) was chasing the suspected narcotics vehicle.

Yeah I was actually concerned for the copper when he followed into the parking garage. Easy enough to jump out and shoot or even shoot from the car if a passenger was inside. I wonder what caused the cop to allow the suspect to actually exit the vehicle and run into the mall. I think a family getting hit by a car would probably stop me from pursuing.
