What Usher said about the Grammy's is basically what Jay-Z was saying with his speach. The Grammys put people like Usher, Beyonce, Rihanna, Kendrick,etc in the urban categories. Meanwhile Adele, Sam Smith, Bruno Mars are winning the main awards (Album of the year, Record of the year, and Song of the year) making black music (soul and r&b). They're telling black folks something subconsciously.

I used to work at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in 2017 and I remember he was the last performer at the Powerhouse event. I was soooo excited to see him come out. When it was his time, about 1/3 of the audience left. I was like "these fools have no idea what they're doing, clearly!" I looove looove looove that he's having such a resurgence. He's so talented! Ive never stopped being a fan!
