I feel so fortunate to be alive to see this. As someone born in 78, I missed out on the moon landings. PS....where can I get some of that super dope FIREFLY Aerospace merch?

It can't "vacuum up loose lunar rock and dust" as the moon has no atmosphere. No pressure differential.
@JustMe-dc6ksСағат бұрын
It’ll use gusts of gas jostle regolith material and some of it will land in a collector.

Uhm, forty five DAYS to get to the moon!?!?!? They taking the scenic route or something?? Apollo got there in 3 days.
@DOSFS15 сағат бұрын
A lot of checking in earth and moon orbit before commit to landing not the time to directly go to the moon. Apollo 11 takes like a week for entire mission.

There were scientist said: the more we knew, the more we put them into considered. Another one said, what we achieved also based on ignorance. I have no idea who said that.

FH could have send these probes to moon but they would overshoot or crash on. Both have limited fuel to retrograde and will have to use gravity assist for slowing down and eventually land.
@JustMe-dc6ksСағат бұрын
The slower route uses less propellant. The other lander on this launch is taking the faster one.
@ryancruz1876Сағат бұрын
Slow route is more inexpensive.
