While I agree, the fundamental problem isn't that migrants are crossing the borders, that's just the symptoms. The real problem is that doing so is not deemed and being treated illegally, but a legitimate way of entry as long as you have an excuse to seek "refuge", and that's what seems to be the message this government is sending to everyone everywhere. They are being received, and that's why they're coming. I'm all for the aid of TRUE asylum seekers and refugees that DESPERATELY need help, as long as they are properly vetted with background checks and meet the stringent criteria of being granted access into the country, AND granted that the country, city, and people have the necessary resources to help them. The problem is, that is not what seems to be the case, which is the reason that major cities are taking a huge toll in so many ways, such as resources and security.

Family in other countries send them money. People go into Walmart and will send like $3,000 to another country. A good majority of them have parents or something they are taking care of though. The crazy part is they have to pay a toll with each cartel that smuggles them along the way.

China isn't a third-world country anymore. At this point they're pretty mixed - the countryside is still very poor, the cities are more moderate and the biggest cities are every bit as expensive as any American city, actually more expensive than most American cities, so the people make more money to correspond to the cost of living. Chinese people also have a much higher rate of saving than Americans do, so they'll live a generally "poorer" lifestyle, buying fewer upgrades to their life in order to tuck more money away, since China doesn't have any sort of social security, Medicaid, pension or retirement, etc. In general their salaries are quite a bit lower than they would be in the US, but if they save for years or have family and friends that can loan them money, some are able to scrape it together. And does China just let them leave like that? What is this, the 1980s? The communism of today is a lot different than it was back then. Yes, they're allowed to go on vacation. However, if the government knew what they were planning they wouldn't let them leave. I have a feeling it's not going to be too long before the government does clamp down on people traveling to that country/airport. However, they could get around that by just flying to any other country first and then buying tickets on to Ecuador. There are some people who aren't allowed to leave the country at all though, if you're on the government's radar for something like speaking out in support of human rights or being too involved in a religion, then yeah, they're not letting you leave the country. Some people realize they're getting close to that point and will decide to go on and flee before they get put on that "no exit" list. In those cases, they may sell everything they own in order to come up with the cash to get out (though that can be a red flag too.)

Most developed countries have Debts at or slightly greater than their GDP and the US’s debt, while massive, isn’t twice or even three times as high as its GDP which is when debt actually starts to become a problem. About 75% of that is also owned by the US itself through selling securities to its citizens and various government programs and departments. The rest is spread amount foreign buyers and creditors. Should we pay it off to get close to 20 trillion or lower? Yes probably, but that would require raising taxes while cutting spending on the military and social security, something most voters aren’t ready to actually consider.

I can barely afford to keep food in my fridge under the biden administration. Cost of living has gone up over a grand a month in less than a year. We ship 99 percent of our commerce to, from and across this country with fossile fuels. We have an administration that has attacked fossil fuels immediately after taking office. Attacked private contractors and truckers, leaving commerce stuck at Port of entry, causing supply issues. Defunding police, releasing criminals refusing to enforce laws or institute bail reform. Shipping cost is increased for high-risk dangerous areas. Pretty much done everything they can to drive the cost of EVERYTHING up. This includes any service requiring a work vehicle. What I got from this is the Chinese official stating the US economy is growing. Our economy is doing very well. The dollar is strong, we have low unemployment, inflation was zero in Oct and is still low, our gdp is doing remarkably well. It’s a great country that attracts people.
