Drag has been around for centuries. Remember the white wigs, stockings, face makeup that were used by men. It’s art and doesn’t harm anyone. Drag queen emerged from szxual fetishes in the gay male scene, it's meant to be szxual. Drag shows historically up until like five seconds ago was a nightclub or bar experience that is exclusively where you would see them with the exception of some like drag brunches which took place at bars during the day. It's very telling of the level of inappropriate that a performance that is reserved exclusively for people ages 21+ in a nightclub is now being transferred to schools, libraries, preschools, kindergartens.
