When I first moved to Philadelphia in 1997, this was the first restaurant at which I ate. Always my favorite. Miss my old neighborhood. Time for a visit!

ohhh my gosh, my husband and I went to this restaurant for dinner in 2017 or 2018 and at the time I thought their steak tartare was one of the best tartare I've ever had ..... steak tartare was my go to meal whenever a restaurant has tat on the menu, and their tartare was my top 5 steak tartare I've tasted around the world.... it is a very romantic venue; the service was great and yes, their food certainly deserves the James Beard Foundation award for outstanding restaurant ........congratulations~!💞
