employers make so many damn excuses for not hiring people,,,they pass up good people over petty shyt.. what ever happened to,,giving people a chance,, hire them in,,train them for 1 week and see how they do,,,if they don't do well,let them go,,,,it could be a simple process,,, or they will say things like,,,"you are qualified,but we can't hire you",,what's that all about? especially when they advertise they are hiring,,,I think we know what's taking place here,,,they must've reached their hiring numbers of a specific minority group,so they "can't hire at this time". it's nothing but obvious excuses

this is exactly I feel when I go to work in my company, my colleagues (most of them white americans) dont like me since I am not white and they never ask me to go to lunch with them. They try to avoid talking to me, I am the one who always say hello to them and greet them. They wont reply my emails and I am not sure what kind of arrogance is that. But I must admit not all of them are like that, they are racist and I hope they feel what I feel while working with them. This is pure racism and there is nothing I can do about it since I cannot prove it and they are not doing anything wrong except they hurt someone by ignoring his presence and try every opportunity to insult me or degrade me. There are a few things there is no justice for that in this world.

I'm not defending racism in no way whatsoever (which may or may not be what you are experiencing), but maybe you are a boring person to hang out with. Want to make society better? Then make yourself better.

As far as lunch and hello part, you have to let it go because it’s social stuff. When it comes to work, they refuse to respond to work related emails you can prove in HR that they are discriminating against you.

I'm a white male and I didn't get equal pay and faced plenty of bias and discrimination. It isn't only black people and women who face these things. It can happen to anyone.

Most of todays discrimination is blacks discriminating spanish americans at work place

How is that possible, when I visit factory floors and everyone there is hispanic or latino. I rarely see black people there....???
@geekedmaxx4 жыл бұрын
@@ZhelinrenticeScott you rarely see black people there because hispanics and immigrants discriminate against black people by not hiring then , and if blacks do get hired they get fired and be called lazy attitude problems going to slow or just hispanics don't like blacks in general ,

Discrimination comes from one particular color is superior to other color. But the other color also discriminate other different color in the same way. Thank you for your lip service Obama.

Now I understand the immense pressure that was put on Obama. A lot around his presidency itself, I still don't understand though. People are discriminated against for height, weight, race, gender, etc. A lot of things. It's common sense. Every black person/human is the same. That the core. People forget the core. We all do. Discrimination in the workplace affects more women than men though. I could wrong though, as it varies country to country perhaps.🌺

I agree, but because other women. My wife has been in the medical field for 17 years and she’s never complained once about a man at her job. It’s only women who have been racist (she’s black) judgmental, oppressive, and just cruel to her and other women. Nothing will get done if we keep directing attention to the wrong places.
