Residuals need to be stronger. OITNB had more viewership than Game of Thrones. That one actress is "naked in perpetuity" on Netflix, and she doesnt get residuals. Please understand, actors make significantly less than what Matthew Perry made on "Friends." If you have Comedy content especially online/streamers, it can interfere with yr ability to gain outside employment. People wont hire u at day jobs if yr funny content appears in a Google search. Also, if someone has a show that never becomes a hit, but stays online for 100 years, they dont really get compensation for that. Stand Up Comedians also need to be brought into SAG, but that's a different conversation. I feel residuals need to be stronger. Ex: George Clooney had time to build a career and become a movie star, b/c he was on several canceled shows in the 80s (which stayed in reruns). He would've been paid at least 10k per episode, plus strong residuals. He was not bagging groceries or wking catering jobs, or subjected to have a "parallel career." I disagree with this new residual plan.
