Evolv Technology security scanners come under criticism

Security scanners designed to detect weapons at PNC Park, Acrisure Stadium and Kennywood are coming under criticism.

I was a visitor at a Pirate game. Security would not accept my medical card and I was told it was safe for me. I tried to tell them that it was not safe for me! I had Deep Brain Stimulation and after I went through Evolv’s security it shut down my battery. I could barely walk and I had to have a new generator installed at John Hopkins Hospital. It was a nightmare for me!

What is the technology? No one talks about how it works and possibly dangers! I am sorry for your experience that is absolutely terrible!

Omg! Why couldn't they just take you aside and check with a hand held metal detector??? You'd think that measure would be a common sense solution automatically in place!
