Fr I am a bigger believer in Jake than any qb in the last 10 years (basically how long I’ve been watching so I can’t say about before) just by how he carries himself and the way he’s able to improve so much. I’m surprised people think BYU would be an awkward place for him when it’s honestly one of the best places for his faith.

Coming into this season, I did not want Jake to be the starter because he had a terrible season last year. He has proven me wrong with his play on the field. I never doubted him as a person, he never had a bad word to say about everyone. All he has done was work harder to earn his rightful place as the starter. I could not be more proud of him. He would be from the tribe of Judea. Judea is the tribe that was never really lost as it’s the tribe all Jews come from.
@judahsoyonov5976Ай бұрын
@@icemaun5379well you are somewhat correct in saying all Jews come from Judea. All 12 tribes did end up in judea after the 1st temple destruction 10 tribes left and came back to judea. Hence, all Israelites eventually became or were judean.

Mormons got money, and Jews got money. Imagine if they combined forces for NIL.
@jeppajeppson2900Ай бұрын
Just because a church has money doesn’t necessarily mean that they should spend it on athletics!! You need to understand that the church of Jesus Christ of Later day saints does not use money given to the church for BYU athletics
@westongrant1702Ай бұрын
@@jeppajeppson2900 I think he's referring to the fact that lots of Latter Day Saints are individually wealthy. Even if the Church's money was used for athletics (which I think it might be actually) it wouldn't be NIL money, so that wouldn't be what he's talking about.
@jacobjohnston4001Ай бұрын
@@westongrant1702 The churches money is not used for athletics, they are very clear about that, and they are VERY strict about it too. From experience.

@trevanhatch8717Ай бұрын
Strange comment. The "Messiah" hasn't fully come. Christians believe that Jesus hasn't yet fulfilled the Messianic expectations but he will when he comes again.
@goodoleboy2525Ай бұрын
@@trevanhatch8717 strange comment. In John 4:25-26 Jesus tells the Women from Samaria that he is the messiah. 25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will 'tell us all things. 26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. Even if he hasn’t fulfilled all of the “Messianic expectations” doesn’t change the fact that Jesus himself is the messiah. It’s his job to fulfill these things, yes some of them in the future, but that doesn’t mean Jesus isn’t the messiah. I don’t know what Christian’s you’re talking to that believe he isn’t the messiah because he hasn’t fulfilled all of the “Messianic expectations” haha 😂. If that were the case Jesus would have told the women from Samaria “I that speak unto thee WILL BE HE” haha

BYU is not Christian…big misconception
@starcraft2beast829Ай бұрын
BYU's sponsoring institution is literally the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The Church's first article of faith literally states "we believe in God the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost."
@drewgomez541Ай бұрын
@@starcraft2beast829 the principle foundation of Christianity - that the only way to heaven is through Christ Jesus - is the exact opposite of what Mormons believe. They believe that it’s possible to be on the same level as Jesus. We can be equal. Look up the celestial kingdoms. It’s a cult. Look up John Smith and the churches foundation. Look at its Masonic roots. Look at the golden calf’s and pagan symbology they have within their temple.
