"Somebody Feed Phil": An appetite for travel

On the hit Netflix series "Somebody Feed Phil," Phil Rosenthal eats his way around the world to discover what makes food, and the people who cook it, so captivating. The idea for the show came from an encounter years ago with comedian Ray Romano (star of the hit sitcom "Everybody Loves Raymond," which Rosenthal created). Rosenthal and Romano talk about their bond, and the transformative power of travel, to CBS News' Dr. Jon LaPook.

He isn't imitating anyone. He is expressing his love of food. Is Anthony Bourdain the only food lover who can ever do this kind of show? I suppose you don't like Andrew Zimmern's or Stanley Tucci's shows, either. Phil does not have Bourdain's knowledge and palate because he was not a chef. This show educates people, and they enjoy it. Bourdain would be glad that others are carrying on this type of show
