I first found jelly’s music in 2020 after my dad passed and I spiraled into a deep depression. I was clean from drugs, I had been thru almost the same life jelly had. I was clean for about 3 yrs when my dad died. I always knew I’d get high if my parents died. I didn’t tho. I went into a deep depression, found jelly’s music, started listening to alllllll his songs I could get ahold of. It was my therapy. I was able to stop digging into the hole of depression, and slowly start to make my way out of the hole. If it wasn’t for his music, and the person he is, sharing his truth, I don’t know what I would have done. I just wanted to be with my dad…his music reminded me, I have more here to do. 💕

So many empty promises over the years, but I’m glad my mum got to see me clean and spent some precious moments of clean life with her prior to her diagnosis. Every day is another day clean , but as every addict knows, it’s a battle for life. Stay strong, stay healthy and stay clean

never heard of this guy or his music but hearing him not just acknowledge his past but preach about not just learning from ones past, but how its ok to still be learning today, just resonates with me as a 20 year old worried that my life is falling apart because I haven't pursued my passion yet and am still learning how I am to go about that, its easy to fall to the anxiety, but hearing Jelly talk about how its ok to still be figuring it all out, helps it

@@09countryangel tbf weed is the safest drug out there, safer then even alcohol, which is why it should be legal everywhere because then it wont be the gateway drug it currently is, because its not a gateway in itself, but the dealers on the streets are, and taking weed out of their turf and handing it to legal dispensary's destroys that gateway

In the last seven months my wife and I have come alongside a 22-year-old we’ve known for years from a distance. She was essentially a shut-in, trapped in a tragic household with no life skills to move forward and no one that believed in her. In the last few months she has worked alongside me many times (I’m a one man show contractor) and volunteered one or two days a week with my wife at a non-profit. She is a GREAT kid. Wednesday she starts a permanent job. Tomorrow we will give her the title to a 2003 so the can get to the job. It has been amazing to see her come out of her scared anxious shell. Someday I hope her parents have the bandwidth to believe in their daughter.

I've never been in and out of jail but i've def. had a rough upbringing and a past of alcoholism and major life mistakes I had to overcome....i'll always enjoy music even if I'm playing for an empty room but it would be nice to finally catch a big break🙏
