Try also Tailscale, which include encryption. By the way, this is good for a proof-of-concept.

I'm old school, I would prefer to see the config part of WAN and LAN nailed down and very difficult to change. Get hacked, 2 am someone reconfigures the network does what they need, reconfigures it and moves out. A fuse approach would also work, i.e. one time programable and then physical intervention needed to change that. I know, I know..people don't want extra work these days.

Sounds good but new school and move where technology is headed sounds like a better idea.
@thecybersecguy1 Жыл бұрын
I would not call it old school. What you mentioned, is indeed the way it should work. Have a process defined within organisation of making changes to the devices. Use the SD-WAN solution to deploy, anf have a prior peer review. Troubleshooting requires manually working with the devices and use SD-WAN also from monitoring perspective. So basically new and old technology are complementing each other and not against each other.

With Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) you can still use the console to troubleshoot, while on Cisco Meraki you can’t… Do the right choice 😊

Do we need SD-WAN to manage/improve hybrid cloud with multisite branches?
@O2C694 жыл бұрын
We are looking to do something similar, move to hybrid-cloud to Azure, and require sdwan for connectivity to mutli-site. We have msp that is refusing access to fully managed network devices, so we are looking to build on existing network a new modern solution using sdwan and azure.. Any advice would be great..

What type of console cable require for SDWAN to SDWAN connectivity
@cbtnuggets3 жыл бұрын
Hi Banti, thank you for your question! That will vary depending on your hardware manufacturer and model. Checking with your SD-WAN provider would be the best bet, as this may be worth a 2nd opinion.

Can I use Miraki for connectivity between sites using ethernet circuits and cisco/hp ospf?
@brad76484 жыл бұрын
@@O2C69 Yes, you can use ethernet circuits for connectivity between sites. For site-to-site vpn you can connect Meraki MX to other 3rd party devices. For OSPF you'd need the Meraki L3 Switch which is capable of OSPF routing.
