I have an 08 v6 premium I want the 2014 gt as well I gotta finish paying off my 08 first though since I just got it I love the car but you can’t make any power out of it I put a cold air intake and a axle back on it for sound and a bit more power and have a tune on it so it is a bit quicker but I’m missing those 2 cylinders hopefully I can find one when Im ready to buy one

Great video brother! I'm looking at getting a 2013-2014 GT myself here soon. Both my parents drag raced when I was growing up and then my dad and I moved over to road course racing. So since I was legally allowed to drive, I've had a NC Miata, now I've got a full bolt on 93 tuned Mazdaspeed 3 that makes low 300s at the wheels. Shoutout to the speed 3s in your video. Lol. But I find myself missing the sound of a V8 that I grew up with, let alone the fact that the Speed 3 was hilarious fun, yet absolutely awful on the road course when I took it for a track day. Lmao

Your car is literally my favorite one literally it’s exactly how ima get my 2011 ford mustang GT premium car literally everything on it only difference ima get a automatic just a personal preference. Plan on getting everything all black just like your car everything blacked out shadow black or Matt black with all black rims definitely going to get aftermarket wheels for sure definitely going to have wheel locks on them all bigger wheels in the back and average size on the front with the basic cold air intake with different exhaust plus the pipes with an oil catch can with the first year then after that I’ll start going more in depth with adding more power but definitely looking to make it sound loud and really good.

Nice!! As a 2012 6 speed premium one owner I totally agree! Bought mine a yr ago! Only thing I’ve done is put on a tuner! I have the original rims which are bent but over all I love my car! The trans has a wine to it since the day bought it! But still no problems with it! Totally reliable never raced it but have played in it! I have heard like you said they cannot handle the horsepower above 500 horse! Which makes me want to get a 2016 GEN three but for now I’m happy! Thanks for the vid!

Keep up with all maintenance upgrades entire suspensions, exhaust ,stereo system Ferrada wheels toyo tires, steeda shifter, transmission mount, brakes new paint.. I have noticed my steering wheel slight movement Slight tick in the motor .... probably keep upgrading...

Dang! saw an 11' with 71k miles for 19,999. Worth? OR a c6 2007 corvette with 21k miles for 5k more or 25k. I like the stang but the vette has way less miles for only 5k extra. Yeah it only has 400hp but the 11' only has 412hp. LS3 or 5.0 coyote???

Hey I found a 2014 mustang gt premium for $29,990. And it's a 1 owner car on Cargurus. It only has 6,175 miles on it. The only thing i was concerned about is that it's up in Burlington Wisconsin. I live in Louisiana. But, from the pictures it looks it excellent condition possibly garage kept and never driven in the winter. Great video! I just bought a '14 GT 6 speed manual. I bought it with a Magnaflow axle back exhaust, short throw shifter and cold air intake. I don't know what else has been done. I'm curious about other exhaust work but I haven't had the chance yet to put it on a lift and see. I forgot to ask the mechanic who did the state inspection to look at that for me. Clearly it has cats because it would have failed inspection and I don't have a check engine light on. I've been told that the manual trans can break if really slamming the gears. Is there an aftermarket mod I can get to combat this or do I need to replace the trans itself with something beefier?

I was almost in the same boat, the car started to tick and lasted me almost 5 years until it blew a rod on cylinder 8. You are saving alot, not sure how much Fords replacement cost. Had to do mines out of pocket sadly, ended up going with a gen 2 shortblock, used the same heads, upgraded OPG/CS, ARP headstuds, ARP cam tower bolts, ARP cam phaser bolts... it cost a pretty penny but the car runs stronger. It will hold up a good amount of boost whenever i decide to go that route.

All '11+ manual cars have the MT-82 unfortunately. They're "decent" transmissions with a good twin disc clutch. Without a good clutch, they won't last long at all. You may also be able to find a T56 magnum swapped car! That's a solid trans

Do you do ceramic sealing on this plain black paint? A friend wants to seal my mustang with ceramic, but I'm concerned that it will get worse, see light scratches/swirls, it also costs a lot of money to seal.

Well, it depends. How good is he at paint correction? Ceramic coating itself won't fix scratches or imperfections... That's all on the paint correction aspect of it. Compounding and polishing will remove all the micro scratches and swirls. You wanna try to get the paint as perfect as possible before it's ceramic coated. Then the ceramic coating will add protection on top of your newly polished clear coat.

My ‘13 is at 53K miles and never had anything major happen. Biggest thing in the beginning was the AC compressor went out. Second was the windshield wiper motor. Thats it 😊 lol

Wait, your solution to the tick, assuming it's an exhaust leak, is adding LONG TUBE headers...?? YOu know that's not exactly an option for a lot of people, right? LTHs are loud (not everyone wants this), they will trip check engine lights, and potentially are expensive to buy and install.

My solution is to fix the exhaust leak in general. Longtube headers are an amazing upgrade for both N/A and boosted applications. That's my suggestion as MOST people would enjoy the additional power gains that can be had from a free flowing exhaust while also fixing the initial exhaust leak. Longtubes can be set up just as quiet as stock. They do, in fact, make catted x-pipe and h-pipe setups for longtubes, so you can still pass emission testing and inspections. If cost is an issue, then you purchased the wrong car. If labor expenses are an issue, you're in the wrong hobby. If a Mustang is too loud for you, you bought the wrong car.

I believe when they tested the Roadrunner engine they realized they didn't need oil squirters for their track attack car, the low friction coating worked just as good, and saved oil pressure/hp while removing the squirters I suppose. So when they facelifted the 2013 car, they carried over that low friction coating onto the Coyote from their Boss 302s success.
