I like it, wouldn't mind a trimmed down version for 2 switch rapidstrikes but I know a lot of people will only build 3 switch.

Rapidstrike going strong with the Stratohawk out. I always wonder why we here in Germany can buy weird old stuff but none of the nice exclusive things -.- I don't need more orange Stryfes or even Orange Demolishers. Even Thunderbows are still on shelves ... not to talk about Rival. nope, nothing. Regulations. I want nice stuff please. So modding is the way :D haha good to see another fine part for use.

Most likely not without heavy modding as it's made specifically for the RS grip.

Question from someone who doesn’t nerf but who likes the design and tech sides of it, why hasn’t a company made the “optimal” nerf gun? Nothing unnecessary just the best possible performance in the most comfortable yet compact shell with a good size stock, seems like a lot of people go for style over substance

The FDL-3 may fit what you're looking for, though it's not cheap. Modding is all about making it your own and fitting to how you play, so there's a lot of variation even if it's not ideal. Optimal is subjective.

It's an upgrade to the stock Rapidstrike switch plate for when you want to overhaul the internals.

How much do the three switches cost?

Depends on what you get and where you get them from. I use Omron V-212-1C6 21A switches which are $3.60 on Mouser before shipping. FoamBlast sells Tezuo AV-162-1C25C 21A switches for $2.00 per switch. If you want bang for your buck, go with those.
