Sir Jony Ive's 2021 CCA Commencement Honorary Doctorate Address

I did the same plaster cast/sculpture class - a year after Jony. It was called the non-literal form study with the same dear Mr. Roy Morris. And yes, Roy was allergic to plaster dust - which confused us all! Why would he put himself though that? It was because Roy was passionate about that class. We all learned so much - by thinking, creating and solving problems simultaneously - physically in 3-dimensions - instead of sitting in front of a computer. This was in 1986 by the way - even Mr Ive hadn't set his eyes on an Apple Mac at that point!
