I see you’ve reacted to Nxde and Tomboy… Lion is a must. Their nightmare version of Put It Straight is a must. But honestly , you really can’t go wrong reacting to *Anything* (G)I-DLE. Minnie, Miyeon, Soyeon , and Yuqi have many solo songs you could pick too. Yuqi ,in particular, always drops a cover on her birthday.

Hwaa is a great one if you want to dig into symbolism and wordplay between the music video, lyrics and music. I've always thought that Minnie pointing the finger at herself, the wine glass exploding like blood spatter, the liquid pooling around her head and the nosebleed were all one continuous metaphor.

You make me smile from ear to ear the whole reaction Thank you for the explanation and fanboying xD Oh my God is my favourite I-DLE MV for a reason, and each times someone reacts to it, it's always entertaining yet interesting because the whole story (stories) of the song, the lyrics, the meanings, the editing which is masterclass to me I highly recommend all their songs ! But to make it easier you can start with Queendom mnet program (season one) where I-DLE set the bar high, they made each of their performances all by themselves and put the examples for other teams to follow, it showcases really well their creativity, their leadership in performance and song making, and also you'll be able to discover "put it straight" nightmare version which is their remix of their own ballad song (from I MADE album), this program was just before their Oh my God comeback and I TRUST album highly recommended LION (Queendom stage and MV), HANN (2018), HWAA & I BURN album (Hann 2018 + Hann alone in winter 2021 + Hwaa is a whole story), Uh Oh, and of course their I NEVER DIE and I LOVE album, They put so much effort, work, creativity in all their works, and since after their debut album, they make all their songs (Soyeon since 1st title track Latata, and b-sides since 2nd mini album I MADE, Minnie several b-sides since Blow your mind from I MADE + some exclusive Japanese tracks, Yuqi since I'm the trend, physical release on Dumdi Dumdi single album)

At the part Yuqi fell, it looked like Miyeon had thrown her down (the frame before her arm is flung outwards), so there's a theory that Miyeon (some kind of god) tossed Yuqi for falling into her temptation (which was caused by Yuqi seeing Soojin at the beginning of the video)

In the making of.....Soyeon states that the song is open to interpretation..... she and her is used as a modifier for ..a ship... the ocean....a drug.... for me.... the song speaks to an addiction that one reluctantly gets into and regrets the outcome....Minnie at the beginning in all white.....at the end covered in black.... tattooed with "from the bottom of my heart" in latin.... her disparity.... a... what just happened moment..... and then her cold stare at the end..... It also speaks to religion and how it sees such evil... the crosses at the finale chorus....the underworld of decadence.... the girls on pedestals. elevated as goddesses...? seductresses....? and the switching of the faces at the end. shushu and soyeon makes me think that the relationship between shushu and soojin was in fact soojin and soyeon in reality..... all conjecture......btw. I did a mashup of oh my god and señorita on my channel. just the track. Im surprised at how the songs are the same but not.... planning on adding the drum part but covid keeps pulling me down.... sucks! Love ur reactions and technical input. awesome! OT 6. That's the tricky thing about these reactions. I'll read many articles beforehand on most videos and sometimes ill dive more in depth when reacting (and sometimes too much haha), but I can promise you when I watch it's always my genuine reaction. I believe in being transparent and honest with my content 🫡
