Loving the content, Phil! As a system integrator in Wisconsin, this is great stuff to bring up in conversation when demoing features of Genetec to both new and current customers. Looking forward to the next one!

Thanks Matt! It makes me happy to know that this content is making a difference for you! I’ve got a bunch more coming! The next one will be about a new feature called Crowd Estimation.

Hi Phil, content is awesome, you should make a video regarding Complete lockdown (access control).

Where can i find the video which you explained about the retain of group cardholders? (About the use of the security clearance).

Thank you. I have three questions 1. instead of using the set minimum security clearance, can i use this action by using the cardholder group? For exemple in case we are in a lockdown situation only this group of cardholders can open the gates. 2.instead of using a real life button, can i create a virtual button in the map and by pressing it i can activate the threat level (is the set Minimum Lever user? Or that's about genetec profiles users? 3. in order to use the option clearance security that's also another license or it's included in the threat level? Thank you in advance

Awesome video, really crazy amount of options. We started with the 4.8 and now switched to a 5.9. So different and cool features. Could you explain how to put the badge popup into the camera tile? Thx

Quick question, if an input activate the thread level, can a separate input deactivate the threat Level? From the video it seems the only way to clear a threat level would be through the software.

the short answer is... YES! Any input and trigger any output in GSC. So for example, you could activate the Threat Level by flipping a switch and then deactivate by flipping the switch back to its normal position. In this case you would be using a STDP switch but you could also use some other input to deactivate the threat level. Your limit is your imagination!

@@theinsidetrack perfect! I work for Convergint in Southern California, We sold threat level to one of our customers in Pasadena, they want to activate a threat level with a panic button and deactivate it with a separate panic button. If that's the theory of how it will works that's perfect. FYI this video is butter, great detailed content, good to see Genetec doing this.
