After taking the Titan X 12.5 on it’s maiden here’s a couple thoughts: - WOW - Paddled through vegetation, no issue. Didn’t have to struggle like in the old town 106MK - this is my third kayak and first one I stood up in. Note I’m 75 but felt very comfortable - it did hold water under set (water came in when some boaters didn’t slow). When got home found 2 suppers under set track. Will take plugs out for next trip. - the spring rutter would not deploy. It was me , I put my soft pack cooler on it . Got home took cooler out and bingo it worked. Might want to share that with listeners. - LOVE the seat 💯 , the drawer. - it is heavy on land - but in the water it ROCKS 😎👍 Keep the videos coming. Thanks for all you do Joe

Thank you for watching. My next video will be taking all the scubber plugs out and seeing if it retains water in the cockpit area. All my other kayaks I never put scubber plugs in. I heard they had issues in the past but also heard this new design should have fixed that. We shall see in a few days.

Just found your channel. Thanks for the awesome review! I also have a pa14 but over the past two years I have been constantly wishing it had this or it had that. This seems like it will be the ticket for me as well. Both for bass fishing and for catfish and striper fishing. Thank you!

It is a great kayak but found out it is not the one for me. I will be doing another video tonight about that. Still a great yak. Loved my PA14's too but as you said no perfect yak out there. Thank you for watching. Just subbed your channel.

Rudder, you Say...? Just turn it sideways either way, and you won't even touch the ground/ramp when launching/retrieving your 'Yak (I added 4 inches to my Titan 10.5 rudder, and I have to do that every time I launch from my truck!). Good Video, keep'em up.... I'm trying to talk myself into the Titan-X, as my Titan fully rigged is over 200 pounds now (3 batteries for the motor-Garmin-and running lights, 7 or 8 Bass rods, 8 Plano boxes, Plano plastic worm box, large hook/weight box, and an "extra-fishing line" box. And the Boondox wheel kit isn't light, either!). Lol.

Exaclty what I was hoping you were gonna say! I cant stand waiting for my order to get in. Doesnt look like till springtime for me up here in the northern plains,Minnesota! I still have my trailer with the PVC bunks still on them that I used for my 2022 Hobie PA12 but I was told I should probably go back to the original carpeted 2x4 bunks.
@CyberYaker

My last trailer was a pwc trailer I had bunks in for the pa14. This kayak sits so flat I just went with this utility trailer. I will be adding outdoor carpet to it but no bunks.

The TitanX is at the top of my list along with the PA12. I’m probably moving to Florida in the next year or so and I’m a bit worried I’ll be disappointed in the drive system in the hydrilla.

Also anyone using a fishing kayak should have self-bailing/self draining scupper plugs in 90%+ of the scuppers. The ones in my OT are amazing.

I have had 3-4 pa14"s and honestly they are great kayaks. They just never felt like the right kayak for me. I have had that issue with every kayak so far. The lynx was the one I liked the most. I am hoping this one can take its place. We shall see.

Now fully rig the kayak with motors front and rear, FF, all the batteries, poles, tackle and net, lunch and drinks. Then tell us how it paddles. My OT 120 PDL is a BARGE fully loaded for fishing.. Paddling is almost pointless and everything mounted to the rails is in the way.
@CyberYaker
@CyberYaker 6 ай бұрын
Watch my last video. I agree 💯. But that's why they have pedals. Don't listen to KZbinrs telling you about how they padel because you will hardly ever paddle them. Once again thank you for watching.

Didn’t really see the deck. I could hear the water as you stepped around the deck and the kayak was basically empty besides your weight. I don’t think they fixed that issue and still have to deal with wet feet.
@CyberYaker
@CyberYaker 7 ай бұрын
@@freeagentangler5159 I never owned a native before. Not sure of the issue you are referring to. Water got in the cockpit because of my pants leg. When I flipped it on purpose I had much more water in the cockpit. I removed the front scrubber plugs from the cockpit and the water went out. I did not have the kayak loaded with gear as you seen and I weigh 185. Your milage may very.

Is the weight the reason you're selling it? I was cruising marketplace the other day and saw your listing. I only knew it was yours because the photo was from your KZbin video. It just seemed a little weird, since all of your videos so far have been praising it.
@CyberYaker
@CyberYaker 7 ай бұрын
No I have decided to keep it. Honestly I think it is the best value out there for kayaks. Since that add I forgot to take down I bought a trailer and had a bunch of accessories come in for it.
@hisandherbroncos610
@hisandherbroncos610 7 ай бұрын
@CyberYakerAdventures That's awesome! I genuinely contemplated reaching out to you for it, but with holidays coming up, it just wasn't in the cards. I'll have something set up for when spring hits. The weight is the one thing that concerns me. I was looking for a trailer for my previous kayak and it was only half the weight. I just want a platform that I can fish standing or seated. I have a pretty bad lower back, so something that allows me to stretch is definitely preferred and also why the weight was such a concern. Thanks for the great videos!

Your wrong, this is THE perfect kayak actually designed for fishing and for the accessories and mods kayak fishermen do/want. Nothing else even comes close. I fully expect this kayak to put every other fishing kayak out of business because they all have massive shortcomings, the Titan X has ZERO. Yes to get all the features we want and need, it makes it heavy. Guess what, all fishing kayaks when loaded with gear and motors are heavy, that's only an issue for transport, storage, launching and loading. On the water it does not act really heavy compared to some other boats.
@CyberYaker
@CyberYaker 6 ай бұрын
Unfortunately my opinion on what I think is the perfect fishing kayak is correct. This one is not the perfect kayak for me. Thank you for watching and commenting.
@riverpirate1022
@riverpirate1022 6 ай бұрын
If you fall out, or flip a fishing kayak in any water other than a river/creek with swift current, you probably should not be using a fishing kayak. They are next to impossible to flip in normal situations, by design.
@CyberYaker
@CyberYaker 6 ай бұрын
Unfortunately it is the nature of the beast. It is a water sport. They can and will flip if not controlled properly and yes that is usually by the less experienced. But it happens. Thank you for watching.
