Guys, feel free to watch the whole video, lol. Do whatever you guys want. Most of us who discovered bts never had people telling us what to do or watch, and we figured everything out just fine. I look at it like this...if bts put out the video in a certain sequence, then they wanted you to see it. If you don't watch those extra parts, you actually miss things that help you later. But we are here for anything you do 😊

Right. It's kinda silly to say "don't focus on the music video". I mean, it's there for a reason. I just love this song AND the music video because I think it goes so well together (well duh it's an MV made _for_ the song). Love the 'youth' vibe that somehow gives off a nostalgic and melancholic feeing. I like watching reaction videos, but it slightly gets annoying when people (like the patreons or moderators or even the comments under videos) start giving them rules about every little thing like "you should watch this but read the lyrics and don't focus on the music video" or "don't listen to this music because it will spoil other things", like I get it that they're trying to help, but like you said, they must remember that most of us had NO CLUE what was going on when the MV first came out or when we first discovered BTS and listened to this song. I was mesmerised by this MV while having no clue about the BU and that's how it's supposed to be. Now I know pretty much most of the important stuff (about BU or about BTS) without having anyone guide me.

I totally agree with you. MUSIC IS ABOUT ENJOYMENT NOT A TASK. I got so embarrassed when i see ungrateful and pressuring comments like that. Some army failed to understand this is THEIR JOURNEY of getting into that rabbit hole the first time, not ours (oh I missed the time I when I was a baby army). I enjoy watching how they discovering bts's musics and just enjoy the music, I'm actually so grateful for them because watching them reacting gives me joy😚. if you want to support the projects going on right now, just go stream again, don't be pressuring ppl! 🦋 This era is one of my favorite eras. When I first got into bts, this content shocked me because it’s pretty depressing stuff and touches on the most relatable and difficult topics youth deal with. Did you guys notice through the quick shots, they were happiest and coping when together but struggling when alone? One of their other videos, I Need You, is like that too. Idols we’re Not talking about this stuff at that time. Btw! The title Hwa Yong Yeon Hwa is actually Chinese. Although it might seem ironic that the most “beautiful moments” are so depressing, if we reframe the idea of beauty and happiness from finally achieving something to the process of achieving something with all the trials and growth included, youth is the most beautiful moment in life. HYYH era was also made as RM said, “because he knew we as human, we have anger inside ourselves. Anger towards orselves and people around us’. So, he hoped that the HYYH era would be a comfort/help for those who need it facing these periods in life.

So I think the song is about whether or not they would make it as a group at the time. It came out in 2015 but I think it was probably written in 2014 when they had received a good start but lots of hardships and had yet to win a show. For Youth was literally my most played song in 2022 😭- And I kept thinking about Run listening to For Youth so much and the falling references etc. So I did a deep dive on Run lyrics, time period, articles, sales for previous albums etc. So, this is how I came to get to my conclusion. The mv itself is portraying the vibrants of youth in different colours, making all moments of youth " The most beautiful moment in Iife" (pt.2).That portrays the mv and song to be kinda nostalgic and melancholic in a way, although dynamic at the same time.
