The first runs are in and it's time to discus the RGT EX86100 Pro Kit. It's one of the best handling RC crawlers I have-partly due to the electronics I put in it. The run footage starts at 10:20. I show both the stock tires and a set of Super Swampers I had on my Jeep Mighty FC.

Am really impressed with this crawler. I just saw one on Ebay for $99. No motor. But for a C note i don't think I can go wrong. I have a Verlineon with a Slash ESC laying around. Add all together and have a descent truck.

G'day m8.....Who said the Chinese cant make decent RC stuff....well i did at first!!... but trucks like this just show how industrious the chinese are. If i had know how cheap this was i may have bought it instead of my element...Here downunder it cost me $550AUD for my Sendero an this RGT is anywhere from $350-450AUD. cheers for the vid it nice to see other trucks out there.....From ya ol m8 Downunder!!

Hey what is the steering lock angle like on this truck? On videos I've seen including this one it doesn't seem that great? For a great truck i hope it's really good. I'm keen to get one but not 100% right now!

It's only ok. Definitely not as good as the new Axial SCX10ii and iii. I switched out the tires with others I had because the stock ones were really soft and would push in the corners a little and make the radius even worse. I'm pretty happy with it overall

@@CCxRC ok thanks. What is restricting the lock angle does the geometry clash to stop it turning more? Would a bigger servo horn give you more throw or is the steering simply locked out on the knuckles and links? I'm a good wrencher but if the steering is simple locked mechanically then it's game over and I'll save for an Element Enduro haha!!

It’s funny you ask because I just got more from it but using a longer horn on it. Now it turns until the knuckle arm for the steering links hits the axle. Still a bit less angle than the scx10iii

@@CCxRC appreciate the reply man. A trx 4 or element enduro sendero boasts 45° steering angle which is amazing. Even a cheaper rgt like the cj or pickup versions look to have brilliant steering lock compared to this pro kit. They're different chassis though. Seems a let down really I'm posed to buy haha.

as for the shafts i lost the damn pin also this shoudn t happen with a 40 euro premium drive shaft the stock ones never failed like that but they are a lot lighter and loose a lot of smoothness

Does anybody know if these RGT rigs come with the option to lock your diffs (open, rear and front) like the trx4 does?

It does not, they come fully locked

I didnt liked the way the side walls rolled on mine either i had to boil them off the rims and put 2 stage foams in them and man that made all the difference they are as good as any tire on the market now i also upgraded to the all metal portal axles i truly think its a good a crawler as ive ever owned
