CD Collection Update (January 2023)

In today's video, I take a casual/unscripted look back at all the additions to my CD collection from the year 2022 :)

Okay, this video ended up being suuuupeerrr messy... I'm sorry about that, but I hope it's not too unbearable! 😅 From now on there are no more excuses, though! The next video I upload should be a 'proper' one again! 🙏

I have nearly all the albums from Architects now, after I have got into them around 2022, starting with their newest output and I am still waiting for their debut to come on CD, but I love their output from 2011 onwards the most, as their early stuff is heavy as hell, and it's alright, but I don't enjoy it as much, but I love Architects as a band, and my favourite that I love.

I used to be at Emil Bulls street team back in the day the first record came out. They send me a lot of promo stuff, I remember giving promo tapes of the record at university (that’s how I meet my wife 😂) We share a lot of musical tastes (Deftones, Sevendust, 40 Below Summer, Dope…) I don’t know if you dig or know this records or bands but here are some recommendations of records I think you will enjoy a lot: - Second Coming - Second Coming - Sinch - Sinch - Finger Eleven - Tip Cheers buddy

You might like the band called coldfusion they gave a few good songs like on my own or rage, off their album bipolar. It’s a good alt metal album from back in the day. Also blindside with their album silence. Also you are missing hand of blood ep 😛. If you like metalcore like killswitch and as I lay dying, then melodic death metal isn’t too far off that sound, like in flames or at the gates or maybe even more folky like wolfheart or Ensiferum.

I know every record of your collection update! I'm more into the melodic/ alt. side of metal, so I enjoyed watching records like Deepfield or Crossfade. Great collection overall!

We strongly share the same musical taste buddy! I loved to see someone showing love to One Less Reason's Everydaylife. I have a copy of that album as well, but mine has the first cover, the black/whithy one, I remember getting on Amazon for like 40$, kinda expensive but I didn't doubt to catch it! You can check One Day Son, This Will All Be Yours by Fightstar. They are mainly post hardcore, but that album has alternative, melodic, nu metal elements. Ever the artwork is dope! Check them out!
