Taproot was a favorite of mine for years. I was shocked the first time I heard BSRL and I honestly hated it. Fast-forward 5 years later when I was in my 20s I revisited the album and loved it. I had to get past hoping for another Gift or Welcome and just hope for a good album and be open to change. Couldn't do that as a teenager

Man, this randomly turned up on my feed to watch. i went into our local record store and randomly picked up "Gift" not long after release and bought on a whim, purely on album cover. i LOVE "I" and "Mirrors Reflection"! imma be honest - i'm a few beers in and will watch this intently tomorrow!

I have nearly all the albums from Architects now, after I have got into them around 2022, starting with their newest output and I am still waiting for their debut to come on CD, but I love their output from 2011 onwards the most, as their early stuff is heavy as hell, and it's alright, but I don't enjoy it as much, but I love Architects as a band, and my favourite that I love.

R.I.P. to Seth Binzer, better known as 'Shifty Shellshock'. No matter what you think of Crazy Town, there is no denying that they were very much a part of the chaotic and vibrant world of late 90's/early 00's Nu-Metal. Contrary to this video's title, some of us will never forget about the wild and attitude-filled energy brought by Shifty's music. Let's all blast some Crazy Town today to let 'em know 🤘🏻🖤

Thanks for making this video. I always loved the song Again and Again. I randomly thought of them and wondered how they've been. I was surprised to see how different Stephen looks, I almost thought they got a new singer. I really wanna know what happened to him? His face got really skinny and he doesn't look well. I don't recognise him at all. It saddens me.

Taproot is one of my very favorite bands. I am not shocked at Fred Durst's upset especially if Interscope was his label, however, very unprofessional of him. He sounded like a spoiled brat instead of a fellow musician happy to help them find their way even if it was with a different label. And if Mike didn't want to come back after settling down, thats just fine, but why be upset that everyone else is ready to get back out there? Wish them the best and be happy for them. It's life. Life's direction can change quickly. I think it is fantastic that members of Taproot took time off to take care of themselves, and their families for a while instead of having their lives fall apart while they were thousands of miles away on tours. We are all regular people in this world, some just have talent deserving recognition like Taproot. ❤❤ Very informative and interesting video! 👍

Im so glad i found this video. Ive only found out about this band after the incident of Ian Watkins sadly, but i just fell in love with the songs, and i couldn't get enough of it. If Ian Watkins didn't do what he did, this would easily be my favorite band, because ive never seen such a band that sounds similar to it as of late (this band is just unique). I do feel a guilty pleasure listening to it, but i guess the only one we have to blame is Ian, for putting an end to his carreer and all of the other members. The fact that this band has all of the genres i love, going from nu-metal to an emo-style rock, just baffles me, and i still can't believe that Ian Watkins just wasted a gem of a band for his own narcissistic and sick desires.

Ah yes, Cape Coma and Ft. Misery. It's hard to understate how repressive that part of Florida is; Cape Coral especially thinks of itself as some kind of massive gated community and has (had?) a stupid number of local ordnances to make itself 'look nice' as a retirement home with a police force known for being particularly gung-ho. I often referred to the place as a sort of 'Limbo", because it just felt like everyone was just... lost and waiting for something. I was glad to leave there and even happier to get out of Florida entirely. I never knew them directly, but I went to high school there in the early 00's and had a bunch of mutual friends; everyone that had grown up there seemed to know them - I'd only just moved there and never spent more than a year at any single school in the area. Pretty sure the bassist slept with my then-girlfriend at some point, hahaha....
