The exact model and colour i had in 1977-79. Amazing times with my beautiful wife (then my girlfriend, both of us aged 18 touring Devon and Cornwall beaches. No leathers or gloves just basic helmets ! Tishirts, shorts, trainers only. Kim also wore her levi jeans skirt !! I would wait for her about 100 yards from her house as her Mum and Dad banned her from going on it !

Memories got one for my 16th birthday back in 1971 and came off the same day, lucky to be alive.

these took my dad to work, to the pub, the club, he used to demonstrate how easy it was to start by using his hand on the kickstarter, lovely to ride, so economical to maintain, great memories, richie

Iv got a crappy right leg so I always lean over and start it with my hand, easiest starter iv ever had, even after weeks of not being started it still starts 1st-2nd time.

This bike and colour was identical to mine. My fourth bike until I got a car. I loved the CD175. I bought it in 1970. Very reliable and nice looking for its time. My friend had the CB175 with the circular speedo and rev counter. Thanks for posting. Happy memories for when I was a young man. How time flies.

Glad this one survived . These bikes were very numerous back in the day but haven't survived as well as the CB varient !

It survived well. Sadly, we've parted company to make way for other bikes.

Any 70's Honda will do for me. I never had a CD175 but I remember them fondly, a great commuter bike. I passed my test on a CB125S LDC784L then bought a CB5004 which I can't remember the registration of strange as it was and still is my favourite bike ever, I couldn't afford the £29 a month HP payments so I traded it in for a new CB250 G5 HVN 307N, I could have rode the 250 on my provisional in those days, the G5 was probably Honda's worst ever 250 it handled like a pig but it looked pretty. I do still have a 70's Honda a CB125S1 WRK 99N back to my first love. Fantastic little bike. I really like your CD though, got to keep these classics on the road.

Ochh foookan gizzit, !! Great small bike for medium distance touring, when 2 up, you could always pull off at same revs as solo, and get top speed same, tough little solid bike,

My wife and I got together on this bike, literally. I had a 1970 model exactly like this one and I slammed into the car she was driving.

Yes, I think it was. This was our first episode with a ride out and we didn't get going until a few years, after. I do not recall what the camera was but it was not a great one. Even with our newish GoPro that has no external microphone, we struggle with sound. We get better every video, hopefully, and will get to grips with better sound recording. Thanks for providing feedback.
