Excellent video. One of the best so far dealing with CDC. This was really a great help. Specially the end part where you show what to do with the stam. Subscription. Greetings and tight lines 🎣 from the Čech Republic 🇨🇿.

Great video Vladimir. Very informative. I know I had trouble tying with CDC till we talked and watched your older video from a few years ago. But this video is way, way better. You are doing a great job of instructing with your you tube videos, keep up the good work!!!

By chance I came across your video. Besides the videos of Marc Petitjean, this is the best video I have seen on the subject of CDC Flies. I have subscribed to your vlog. Thanks for the detailed tips on this topic.

Thank you so much. Cdc is one of my favourite materials. I love it in any fly

So educating, love watching your KZbin vids, have a lot of cdc in my collection and these tips are really encouraging me to tie a few more cdc flies, been tying most of my patterns paraloop style lately and the results are a big improvement on fish takes
@Oholisfliesandfishing3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. That means a lot to. Paraloop is something i tried long ago, avoided ever since because it demanded more hackle... Now lately i am thinking about it again.... I havent given it a proper try. , 🍺🍺

Thanks so much. I will see to make a video about it. In the mean time, most of the flies i showed in this video i have made on my channel. Thats a good starting point. But having all those tips in one video applied to flies may be a good idea. Thank you

I've seen that tapered foam...very good. But habits are killing me sometimes. I use this same piece of foam for 11 years now 😂😂😂

Great video thank you! Looking for material for legs that have action and remain dispersed underwater on nymphs - do CDC feathers typically lay flat on the body when submerged or do they act more "loose and buggy" with action?
@Oholisfliesandfishing9 ай бұрын
Thank you. It depends on the angle of legs. If you lat them against the body they wont move much. If you make them. 45-120 degrees than they will move more. Search for my video "the underwater world of flies" it may be helpful. 🍻

Thank you very much for a very instructive video. I was wondering if you used a floatant on cdc wings or bodies ?
@Oholisfliesandfishing4 жыл бұрын
You are welcome. I dont use any floatant. After fish i rinse fly in water, squeeze it with paper tissue to remove water and after few false casts its ready to ride again.. After several fish fly loses its buoyancy, that's why i have more of them ready.

You’ve added a bit of fluorescent fibres on a couple fly’s. I would love to know what material you’re using and how you tie them in so they don’t fall out. A couple are just a few fibres, are those enough to add to the visibility on the water? Thanks! Great video!!
@Oholisfliesandfishing2 жыл бұрын
First of all, thank you so much. As for shiny materials its ice dub. Tie it in as you wish, it will stay there no worries I add a bit, not much because its there to be an attractive detail. Insects sometimes have that shiny effect. If i put too much it can put off fish. Thats why i dont add much. Hope this helps Cheers Vladimir
