I don't know if Michael F will read this but every time I see the commercial he is in, I weep. Michael looks so much like my late husband. His life is most an exact parallel. Everything about him. How many packs a day, how long, the GED, the boat, working in construction, and eventually the high pressure long hours job. The nebulizer, the power scooter, all of it. I finally lost my sweet husband to COPD in 2017 after years of caring for him and trying to keep him as healthy as possible. He lived to 76 only because he quit in 2001 after being diagnosed with cancer. Michael, stay positive, stay as active as possible, and take care of yourself as best you can. Wishing you all the best.

Take these commercials To the corporations that make these addictive drugs. These people are just victims of corporations that feed these poisons to the consumer.

This is an excellent ad by him to warn current smokers or non-smokers this is what COPD does to your life when smoking for so long if you don’t get cancer or suffer a heart attack from it but instead get COPD

I had been smoking since age 14 and quitted cold turkey at age 39 in 2014. I just quitted, using no substitution or any crutch whatsoever. That was the absolute best method that really works. The first 3 years of quitting was the worst, as my body adjusted to the new condition and my lungs detoxed. Really taxing, physically and mentally. I personally don't think I could've handled that at age 66. The reason for my quitting? My children. I quitted smoking when they were born. I didn't want them to grow up as a passive smoker, as I had been throughout childhood, teen and adult years. My dad was a heavy chain smoker till the day he died due to a heart attack, in 2006. I love my dad. He's the best father, but he was a smoker. Stay strong, though. Quitting is seriously good at any age--as long as it is not too late.

The governments fund these commercials but still allow the sale of cigarettes? It's almost like they make money from people's suffering, huh? 🤔
