One of my biggest challenges with Reaktor is the sheer amount of stuff you can do. Great video that showcases some little known techniques.

Nice Reaktorizing! I'm always amazed at how all these audio professionals keep messing up their micing setups. So much tongue and breath.

There is little in the way of explaining how to set up this ensemble. Its more a scanty overview of someone's performance options. It would have been useful to see how the SEQ connects to even just one Ableton Live clip. Where does it get its input from or how do you add it to a Reaktor ens?

+Liam Donaldson the article has more details and peeks under the hood. Not sure why CDM didn't include it in the about section. createdigitalmusic.com/2015/11/in-just-a-few-minutes-mod-a-euclidean-sequencer-in-reaktor/

Ahhh...The Future Is Here...and I can't afford it!!! Just kidding...I just invested in Komplete, and Reaktor was worth the price of admission alone! The possibilities of interaction with fellow dreamers have only just begun to show fruition. This is a very good example, and presented well.

This can be done in Ableton in a much easier and cleaner way. You wont have nice display of the polyrhythms like in the video but its practically the same method. Just use multiple midi channels with different length midi loops in 16th divisions such as 5/8, 3/8, 1/4 and so on. Set up an instrument of choice and route the midi patterns from each channel to via the routing section and you’re good to go. Just make sure to ‘monitor in’ the midi instrument.

funny i was just thinking about it cause i tried what she does and not as easy going as presented............. actually its not fun at all :D
@jrileyhill5 жыл бұрын
Yea thats a cool idea, but it's missing a step. A euclidean sequencer uses an algorithm to automatically insert notes spaced equidistant from each other. Which is what makes it fun and inspiring to use.
