His projects would be a lot better with 10-12 tracks like this mixtape. Also helps that he fits this production. I think this is his best project, although I like the style of self titled the most. He was in his bag on Myself and Up. His lyrics were just laughably bad on some other songs. Perfect Timing had good production and there were a few good songs but I feel like I gotta force myself to like any more than 6-7 songs on that project. This one has the least % of bad songs of any Nav project easily imo. Friends & Family, Young Wheezy, Don't Need Friends, Vetement Socks, Do Ya Deed (I think), Make It Right Back, Dropping Tears, and Modest are all listenable songs in their own right. Some of them I genuinely like. Bad Habits was so atrociously bad imo, I only liked To My Grave and Tussin. Good Intentions was better but did sound really "commercial" not so much like old Nav, maybe 7-8 songs I like on there. I've listened to every Nav song on Spotify and as a project Emergency Tsunami has the best hit/miss ratio by far therefore I'd consider his best in my personal opinion maybe I'm sleep though. I'd consider myself a closet Nav stan, I'm also a closet Gunna stan too. I'm in the top .4% of Gunna listeners on Spotify lmao. Nav was my 2nd most listened to artist of 2020💀.
