@@davidb7212 i had to buy a new hard drive before and now this one went bad in less than two years. I figured the dust was part of the problem, but in my case i don't remember how i unscrewed everything last time and i no longer have the screw drivers. Should i wait until i get some screw drivers so i can pull out the hard drive and blow/clean that area or do you think as long as majority of the dust is removed blowing the hard drive may not be necessary?

@@spongebob8445 you can try blowing out the dust in the area where you hard drive is and if it doesn’t work just try to get in there where the connectors are because that is the most important part. Or it might be a messed up hard drive.

Also keep in mind it's not always the dust it can also be the hard drive itself it might be corrupted. It's why some people recommend that you might have to replace the hard drive or sometimes if the corruption is too bad for the console you might have to replace the entire system or send your system in for a service repair.

@@spongebob8445 no but yes. In my experience with this issue it has nothing to do with my ps4 and everything to do w the wiring in my home. The ps4 isn't getting enough power to its various shutdown sequences which eventually causes problems

Yeah, PS4 hardrives are so trashy, one time a friend of mine had the very same issue, and we simply installed an extremely old 2010 laptop hardrive, and it functioned. Thats why it's best purchasing game CD discs instead of downloading the games through a Virtual store.

@@lxurixno So, first off it will delete all your games and all the things in your camera roll. It will save all your things when you download the game back. But some games might make you restarted. But games like Fortnite and cod will save your accounts stuff.
