Hi David, amazing video! Can’t really find many videos using this grinder, and I think this grinder quality could last life long. May I ask have you ever experienced stall in this grinder when using the lowest rpm with light/medium roast?

This is by far the over all best grinder I have ever used, and I used I lot of grinders 😅. The Barista may look similar but it is a totally deferent grinder than mine. Deferent burr set, deferent burrs chamber and deferent work flow. The Barista is more focused for coffee shops than home use

@@weiszCoffee upon more research, I will be getting the Naked version. I wonder if Ceado comes out with a gen 2 or newer version of these grinders,they've been out for a while now

@@Persepolis8564 The naked is much more like mine. The only deference is there is no RPM option (which is anyway very over rated). Don't think Ceado is planning to make a newer version. This is an overkill grinder as it already and is manufactured only by request. No batch manufacturing of this grinder.

@@weiszCoffee I can buy it from Wholelattelove, they have both the naked and the hero. Price is a bit high, but it is a purchase you make once and enjoy it for the rest of your life. How often do you clean it( after how many grinds)?

I own one ( a Z HERO) and would advise against getting one. Retains more grounds than I could have imagined. Ceado customer service is shit too. Had an issue with the small wooden knob on the adjustment gear. Contacted them and their answer was call your dealer. I did. $350 is what Ceado charges for a wood knob. F THEM.

Amazing video David! Are the burrs held up in place by magnets? I see no screws in the burrs and I guess that is done to get a more uniform ground distribution?

Thank you so much :) The burrs are attached with screws from the inside. Actually have no clue how to detach them. They should last a life time. And yes, the fact there are no screw hols significantly contributes to the grind uniformity.

@@weiszCoffee That's some clever engineering there. I thought the burrs were attached by magnets and thought maybe that's where Weber Workshop got their idea for their EG-1 from haha.

Actually i bought it second hand after less than one year of use. I agree that it is less popular then other grinders in the market. Guess it is related to the ridicules price which range between 3500$ to more then 5000$

How do you compare the 37Z vs the 37SD? Any significant difference in flavor? Thanks

Indeed I had the 37SD, but actually it is a bit hard to compare the two, cause I didn't had them both side by side. If I mast say, I think the 37Z is presenting a bit more clarity and more sweetness when grinding medium light beans. The 37Z have a very unique burr shape (geometry and also no hols for the screws) but also the 37SD is an amazing grinder with exceptional burrs
