For sure. There are just so many different variables that I can't remotely wrap my head around drafting beyond straight counter picking. It's such an interesting part of the sport but it takes a really good analysis to give decent insight on what's going on.

They are still picking but NoTail is thinking how to force fights, how to catch people, what to do during fights, does the heroes have a good cohesion in terms of skills. I mean as a player I think about that, like how many stuns do you need to look out, do you build bkb etc, but he is just 10 steps ahead. They do prove themselves as TI 2 time champs.

As much as OG are cocky, its incredibly humbling to see them speak well of others as well. Saying how TS has blossomed and that being beautiful, to paying respects to how incredible Yatoro’s PA and NTS’ Tinker is, they are truly fans of Dota just like anyone of us and that’s awesome

they are casters in this. but if there are in the booth across psg you will hear them talking shit about this tinker and they can easily kill it. but that is not arrogance. you need to psych yourself up if you are going against tough opponents. when your carry is talking shit how easy the game is (TT's "ez game") the rest of the team will get confidence boost and its a hell of a weapon unless the momentum turns

You never hear OG talk shit to the other teams. They always say good things. Only reason why they shit on the other team between themselves is just to boost morale and keep the energy of the team. Also their wheelchats and stickers are just elements of fun for them. Even Nigma found it funny.

They are not cocky. They just know that the mental aspect of the game is the biggest difference when all players at the peak. Both keeping you team happy and the other team mentally down. And that knowldge OG uses as a tool.

When an opponent picks a strong hero against them that OG knows is a game winning pick do want them to say as the draft is going on "well I guess it's over. GG. Next game." If you mean cocky in public like on Twitter or whatever that's fine but cocky in game is all about team morale. I agree that top players make the best analysts. Pieliedie was good last year in the draft analysis.

If we pay attention, the game went largely as they predicted. From the draft, to how each hero gonna play out, to what are their core items, and to how the pace of the game goes (pushing tower, push team fight). OMG, what is going on inside these pro players' brains?

Yeah i mean. Notail was one of the best naga siren users as pos 5. Even sumail can use it as carry.. why did they never use it? So many possibilities but i guess they failed to execute. Game 5, one of the most proud moments of my life, when I saw magnus on the draft I predicted Ember Spirit and Yatoro's Terrorblade, it's their main weapon. I was so happy they won afterwords I came back to dota right away. But who cares right? peace for you reading this.

The thing is, that if they don't challenge the opponent, then they won't break them. OG always played a very psychological Dota 2, Ceb is famous for it. True Sight 1 and 2 shows it. He gets inside the head of the drafters, he wants them to think they won because of draft and then crush them. Problem against TS is that their players are extremely versatile. They played many heroes and both TorontoTokyo and Yatoro have huge hero pools to dip into. It is very rare, that we get to see games casted after the event these days (a stable during DOTA-era, where most games where found as replays and dl'ed). But getting such content might give more people an insight into stuff like strategies and game plans.
