Cebu Pacific's first A320 Sharklet

Cebu Pacific Air took delivery of its first A320 equipped with Sharklets today during a ceremony in Manila last Jan 21, 2013, becoming the first operator of the new fuel-saving wing tip devices in the Philippines.

Well, Airbus is currently building their new A350 for long haul flights. Maybe Cebu Pacific can order two of this aircraft for their North American flights to compete with PAL for Vancouver, San Francisco and L.A routes. I think Cebu Pacific should think this seriously.

The parts of the aircraft are being manufactured all over europe by Airbus and are assembeled in Toulouse France. But they have some manufacturing plants in Asia and the US

One of the reasons why Cebu Pacific has relied on Airbus A320's, is that they are less expensive to maintain. Airbus planes are more easier to familiarize, in which case they need due to Short handed in crews

And this is much nicer news. Cebu Pacific's BRAND NEW Airbus a330-300 widebody jets will arrive today June 14, 2013 at NAIA terminal 3. They will use this in routes Mnl-Incheon S. Korea and Mnl-Singapore and this is the first batch of 8 Brand new Airbus a330-300 widebody jets and more to come this year.

well not really that cheap. there will be a margin of couple hundred bucks but it will be almost the same ticket price because they need to pay for fuel expense and landing fee and terminal fee and more.. thats why PAL's rate for us filipinos are expensive because they need to earn at the same time pay for the cost of the flight

Sharklets they are.The difference from winglet. Sharlets has the antenna inside with communication parathing, enable to communicate in satellite enable pasenger to have wifi ( fly-fi ) and Tv satellite broadband. Therefore available to the pasenger to surf the internet and calls. Winglet is just a complex wing end.

***** Cebu Pacific IS cheaper than PAL. PAL has its own budget airline to complete with Cebu Pacific and its called PAL Express. They utilize Q400s, A320s and A330s but still no match for Cebu Pacific.
