A KZbin follower requested me if I could replicate a 3D square diamond pattern.
I show in this video one way to approach these high relief diamond designs.
Actually, it is time consuming the way I did it. Hopefully, somebody else would show us a faster and easier way to do it.

Thank you so much. I just got a Pfaff about 2 months ago that someone threw out. Cleaned it, oiled it and now I'm learning how to use it. I went on KZbin to see how to thread the machine, and your channel was my 1st choice. I subscribed and now you are my teacher. I have a pleather couch and chairs and I think I'm going to try uholster them with new fabric. Again, thank you. By the way, I am a sheet metal worker, so instead of sewing, we spot weld or use other fastening methods but not threads lol. Its almost alike to me.

DearArtur, Great you already have a sewing machine. Upholstery is a full of entertainment artcraft to kill time or get some pennies to our pockets if we are devoted to provide service. Something similar happens to me because I am a mechanic specialized in hydraulic presses. I enjoyed a lot when I deal with irons, grease, oil, etc.

I've also modified a few of my feet with a Dremel & have add metal spacers just so I can use feet not compatible with my sewing machine. And they work great!

Estimado Emilio, ¡Muchas gracias por apreciar estos videos! Este diseño sobre una moto, mas bien sería para uso decorativo. Para que se formen las figuras en 3D es muy importante considerar la 'espuma'. La que uso en el video es de alta densidad. En las fábricas de espuma la pueden hacer en diferentes grosores. Esta densidad la utilizan para plantillas en tennis shoes. Tiene gran resiliencia, es decir que se recupera de inmediato a su posición normal. Tiene que considerar también que los hilos de la parte superior estarían expuestos a los rayos solares, humedad, polvo del ambiente, etc. Además al sentarse habría una constante frotación que puede causar que el hilo se deshilache. Para solucionar este problema de exposición al aire libre y frotación tendría que usar un hilo de alta calidad para exteriores. La marca Serafil para exteriores es muy buena. Pero está la marca Tenara que es lo mas resistente que existe. Sailrite es un distribuidor de estos hilos para 'outdoors' donde podrían asesorarlo. www.sailrite.com/Notions/Threads
