Heeey! I am back with a new cabin build update! We are on part 5 of this series now and things are happening! We started this cabin extension build in January 2021 and have about 1 month to go till finished. Building a cabin on Svalbard, a remote island in the arctic, comes with its own set of struggles!

Ahh the cabin update. I love your ideas and designs for the new home. The glass door between your office space and the living area is inspired! Using all that beautiful northern natural light is a Godsend. And now you will even have the luxury of your own mini gym and TV den! I love that IKEA sofa, I've been eyeing that one up for some time. I especially like the extra long chaise type chair that goes with it. Wow its going to look gorgeous. Kudos to the builders, because it seems to have taken almost no time at all to build (I know there is still a lot to finish) but it seems to have just flown by! By summer you two will be lounging around your new luxury home enjoying cocktails outside in the midnight sun watching that beautiful ocean. You lucky ducks. Oh and I think Grim was running by the car as a pretense to be helping Christoffer with the boxes. Perhaps he was secretly hoping one of those boxes would be delivering him a pretty doggie girlfriend LOL.

Lol... I was in Billings MT, mid February it was neg 35! Then add wind chill... they said frostbite in the 10 min... but I had to snowblow the driveway and sidewalk... the HOA was being such a pain. That experience guaranteed me I couldn't do Svalbard winters....
